and in time you will be able to

You will be able to try to get pregnant after 2 years.
When can I
return to work?
The gastric band surgery
involves only an overnight stay
in the hospital. Most patients
are able to return to work in 4
days after surgery and exercise
within a week. Normaly, after 3
weeks, you will be able to
return to your normal lifestyle.
What is
the ideal age to have the
surgery?
From the age of 18 years old
until the age of 60-70 years old.

Should I
take vitamins after gastric band
surgery?
Usually you will not require
any vitamins. With the gastric
band you will be continuously
getting the vitamins and
nutrients from what you eat.
Is gastric
band surgery reversible?
Yes, it is a fully
reversible process, we simply
remove the silicone band.
Are there
some foods or drinks that I will
no longer be able to eat or
drink after gastric band surgery?
You would be able to eat
almost all kinds of foods
depending on how tight the band
is, however, it may be difficult
to eat certain foods, such as
red meat and bread. Concerning
drinks, you should not drink
carbonated beverages, because
they will make you feel bloated.
Is it
necessary to bring a companion
with me or can I come by myself?
It is not necessary to bring
a companion, we will assist and
take care of you from the time
you arrive in Guadalajara until
the day you leave the hospital.
If you would feel better and
more secure with a companion,
you can bring him or her with
you.
Will I
have to return to Mexico in
order to have the gastric band
adjusted?
If you do not live in
Guadalajara you can go to your
closest doctor in order to have
the gastric band adjusted or we
can refer you to a doctor.
